OET - Occupational English Test
The Occupational English Test or OET is an international English language test designed for the Healthcare Professionals in the field of Dentistry, Dietetics, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Speech Pathology and Veterinary Science, who aspire to practice in an English-Speaking Country. It is conducted by CBLA or Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment which is a venture between Cambridge English and Boxhill Institute. OET has 3 delivery modes, i.e., OET Paper-Based, OET Computer-Based at a Venue and OET at Home.

OET emphasizes on the communication specific to the Healthcare Environment and assesses the candidates on the 4 Language Skills:

The candidates score from 0 – 500 Points, with a Letter Grading from A to E, A being the highest. They must score more than 350 Points in each Section to be eligible.
