PTE
The Pearson Test of English or PTE Academic is a computer-based English Language Proficiency Test conducted by the Pearson PLC Group for candidates planning to migrate to an English Speaking Country. Like IELTS, it assesses candidates on the 4 Language Skills but the Format is entirely different from IELTS.

The 4 sections in PTE appear in the following sequence:

The total score is 90 Points.
​
Students applying for Higher Education require between 58 and 64 points overall, with no section less than 51 points.
​
Candidates applying for Australian PR need between 65 and 72 points overall, with no section less than 65 points. However, a score of 79 points is considered as ideal.
